Mr. Gonzales has practiced law for over twenty-seven years and his practice is exclusively limited to immigration law. Mr. Gonzales is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Washington State Bar, American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Oregon Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Mr. Gonzales is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law and he holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Mr. Gonzales has handled hundreds of cases before the Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) section, formerly known as the "INS", of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Gonzales has handled many cases before Immigrations Customs and Enforcement (ICE) section, formerly part of the "INS", of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Gonzales has handled many immigration trials before the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), and he has handled immigration appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), and before the Federal Courts of Appeal. Mr. Gonzales has extensive trial experience having handled trials involving both state and federal courts.

Mr. Gonzales has handled hundreds of cases and has legalized hundreds of people before the various U.S. Consulates throughout the world. Mr. Gonzales has also gotten hundreds of visas for individuals before the U.S. Consulates and the USCIS. Mr. Gonzales handles family immigration cases, deportation and removal cases, immigration bond cases at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma and other Detention Centers, visas for families and businesses, and waiver cases for Immigration benefits.

Jonathan Gonzales is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Florida State Bar, American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Oregon Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Law and also holds a Masters in Business Administration, cum laude, from Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Jonathan C. Gonzales worked at some of the nation's most prestigious law firms, where he gained substantial experience representing public and private companies, executives, officers, and directors in significant, high-stakes matters. That experience spans several areas of substantive law, including cases involving allegations of fraud, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, deceptive and unfair trade practices, civil theft, conspiracy, and foreclosures.

Mr. Gonzales has also worked in state and federal court a variety of complex disputes, including numerous class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and multidistrict litigations. In connection with these cases, he has also frequently worked on internal investigations, and on the defense of investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and other government entities. He has been involved in several matters that received national media attention, including a number of cases with more than $100 million dollars at stake.

Jesse Maanao

Jesse Maanao currently serves on the Immigration Legal Committee for Catholic Charities in Portland. He also serves as the Chapter Liaison between the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Oregon Chapter) and the Portland, Oregon Immigration Court. Mr. Maanao is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington.

He is a graduate of the Seattle University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Seattle University. Mr. Maanao frequently advises clients on business immigration issues, as well as handles deportation and removal litigation cases, including immigration bond cases at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma and other Detention Centers.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Maanao was an Associate at a leading Portland immigration law firm. His immigration experience includes several years of service as a District Adjudications Officer with the INS and with the USCIS.

Bradley Brown

Bradey Brown has been a practicing attorney since 1986. He attended University of San Diego Law School, and has passed the bar in both Oregon and California.

In addition to immigration law, Mr. Brown has an extensive background in Bankruptcy Law, Property Law and Litigation. He has also been active in various forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Brown focuses primarily on Consular Processing and Family-Based Petitions for our office.

Samuel Hayden has been an attorney since 2006. He is a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California and received his law degree from Lewis and Clark. He started working with the Law Offices of Jeffrey Gonzales over a year ago, in early 2010.

Mr. Hayden handles casework through USCIS and Department of State, including Consular Processing cases, as well as helping the litigation team. He is also a member of the Gus J. Solomon Inn of Court.

Jaime Langton received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University before attending Willamette University for law school. She began her legal career in 2009, and came to the attention of Jeffrey Gonzales when she helped a co-housed attorney on fraud cases.

Aside from doing past legal work in Fraud, Ms. Langton has also worked as a professional speaker, and has taught self-defense to young women. Her background also includes work in marketing,broadcasting, and acting.

With the Law Offices of Jeffrey Gonzales, Ms. Langton works with Litigation, Consular Processing and Adjustment of Status Cases. She joined the firm in January of 2011. She is a member of AILA.

Enrico Tadeo is a member of the Washington State BAr. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of the Philippines, and received his law degree from Lewis and Clark.

Mr. Tadeo started practicing law in 1999, but just recently joined the Law Offices of Jeffrey Gonzales in November of 2010. He has been actively working in immigration law for the past ten years. In the office, Enrico handles cases that are processed through USCIS and the Department of State, including Consular Processing. He also provides support to our litigation team.

Community involvement is important to Mr. Tadeo. As such, he is a board member for Community Mediation Services in Vancouver, Clark County Professional Mediators, and Thriving Families in Clark County. He also serves on the board of Good News Community Health Center. Mr. Tadeo is an active member of the Filipino American Community.

Ellen (Addington) Weintraut

Ms. Weintraut received her undergraduate degree from Drury University and her law degree from Tulane University in 2005. She has been practicing immigration law since 2006. She spent the first five years of her career assisting hundreds of low income clients through the Immigration Counseling Service in Portland, Oregon where her practice focused on family immigration, asylum, citizenship, VAWA, and U Visa cases.

Since joining the Law Offices of Jeffrey C. Gonzales, Ms. Weintraut has been working with and coordinating our litigation team. She is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS). She currently serves on the AILA Oregon Chapter’s pro bono committee and speaks Spanish proficiently. Ms. Weintraut has provided immigration trainings on varied topics to attorneys and other members of the community.
